Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra

The Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra (THSO) is the oldest professional symphony orchestra in Indiana, founded in 1926. The THSO presents a subscription series from September through May, as well as educational concerts for approximately 3,000 fourth graders from the Wabash Valley.

Members are auditioned from the local communities and nearby college and university music programs. Members of the AFM form the committee that negotiates the Collective Barging Agreement (or CBA) and serve as the voice of the musicians to the THSO Board on working conditions in the orchestra.
