MEN OF NOTE
Playing arrangements written specifically for the 8-person band, the Men of Note perform a variety of works from the Great American Songbook and well-known tunes from bandleaders such as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Harry James and Benny Goodman. The band is available for dances, wedding receptions, reunions, outdoor concerts, open house events, private club dates, private parties.

JOHN “DOC” SPICKNALL
John “Doc” Spicknall is a pianist of tremendous variety playing from the Great American Song book and jazz standards. Formerly on the faculty at Indiana State University, he is available for receptions and other jobs either as a soloist or with a variety of combo settings (including bass, saxophone, vocalist or other combos).
